Q. How do I know if my loved one needs in-home care?

If you are searching for the answer to this question, chances are you are noticing some changes with your loved one. Q. What kind of services do you provide?
We provide a wide range of home care services, and our highly trained caregivers can meet any non-medical care needs. Our home care services include everything from bathing and hygiene care to outings and activities. Our goal is to add joy to your loved one’s life! Q. How quickly can I arrange for service?
We can provide services within 24 hours’ notice. However, if we will be providing ongoing services, we would prefer as much notice as possible so we are able to find the proper fit for your loved one’s personality and care needs.
Q. How much does the service cost?
There are many factors that play into pricing for our senior care services, such as care for more than one person and Wake-Up or Tuck-In services. Contact us for pricing for your specific situation.
Q. Do you require a minimum of hours and days a week in order to provide care?
Our services are available for as little as a 2-hour shift, up through full-time, 24/7 care.
Q. What are my payment options for home care services?
We accept payment via check or credit card.
Q. Are your home care services covered through Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance?
Because we are a non-medical home care agency, our services are not covered under Medicare or Medicaid. Your care may be covered through a long-term care insurance policy.
Q. Is your agency licensed?
Yes, we are licensed as a Residential Service Agency by the Maryland Department of Health, Office of Health Care Quality. Our license number is R4194.
Q. Are your caregivers insured and bonded?
Yes. All our caregivers are employed by our agency and bonded and insured to protect both our caregivers and our clients.
Q. How are your employees screened?
The safety of our clients is extremely important to us. We conduct extensive background checks on all our caregivers, including driving records, professional criminal background check, drug testing and reference checks.
Q. What kind of training do your caregivers receive?

All caregivers receive training on policies and procedures and understanding aging conditions before starting care with any client. They also receive mandatory ongoing training on all aspects of care, with access to over 120 hours of highly specialized in-home caregiver training.

Q. What are the advantages of home care?
Home care allows senior loved ones to continue living the incredible lives they’ve worked hard to build in the comfort and familiarity of home. The compassionate assistance provided by in-home caregivers brings joy, connection, and purpose to the lives of our loved ones, and gives family members a peace of mind knowing Mom or Dad is happy and in good hands.
Q. Who can receive in-home care?
We specialize in senior care; however, if the client has an early onset illness, we can also tend to his or her needs.
Q. Are your services available in nursing homes or assisted living facilities?
Yes, we have had many experiences working together with the staff in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in our communities and we can provide care for seniors wherever they call home.
Q. What if my caregiver is sick and cannot make it to my house?
In the event that your caregiver is sick or can otherwise not make it to your home, we will contact you immediately and offer to send a replacement. If this person is new to the client, one of our management staff will accompany the caregiver to make the introduction and explain the care needs to eliminate any stress on the client and/or client family members.
